Masaaki MiyazawaBorn in Tokyo (Japan) in 1960, Masaaki Miyazawa is a world-renowned photographer. His first series, entitled "Ten Nights to Dream", shot in infrared, won an award from the New York International Center of Photography in 1985! Masaaki Miyazawa went on to specialize in fashion, advertising and music. In 2014, his reputation earned him the title of official photographer for the 62nd reconstruction ceremony of the Shikinen Sengu temple, a Shinto religious landmark that is rebuilt to its original form every 20 years. He is also famous for his photos of Nishikigoi, brocade carp, highly prized in Japan and often referred to as "aquatic jewels". His series on Mount Fudji, entitled Red Dragon, was exhibited in Shanghai on the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. Alongside his photography, he produces and directs several documentary films. The latest, released in 202, is dedicated to a Japanese calligrapher, Shoko Kanazawa, who suffers from Down's syndrome.
