Patricia Faure

Swept up in sound, words, and images, guided by her wishes, locations, and passions, Patricia Faure is an atypical artist torn between music and photography. She explains: “Music, my alter ego, is an incredible vector for sensations that sublimates all emotions. It is one the reasons why, over 25 years ago, I became a DJ. I devoured hours and hours of notes each day, with the same fervour, always immense and intact, as though it were flowing out of me towards others. With imagery, I seek to tell stories, I enjoy infusing my female subjects with a notion of freedom. Through suggestive nudes, contrasting silhouettes in black and white, I love to reveal their beauty and mischievousness, frankly and without artifice. The essence of my inspiration is a subtle mix of confidence, energy, humour, and generosity, which I share with my models. My impetus is my ‘hypersensitivity’. It drives me to create in the moment and in the most instinctive way possible.”
