Mathieu Forget alias Forgetmat is an artist in motion. Born in Paris, a dancer, photographer and artistic director, he embodies a new vision of dance, capturing its quintessence in his photographic work. A former tennis player, Forgetmat aspires to promote freedom of expression, striving for excellence, and challenging our perception of movement and the environment. His art can be summarised as capturing, in photography, an ephemeral moment of levitation. Also known under the name of “Flying Man” thanks to his videos, this multidisciplinary artist defies the laws of physics and contributes to combining styles. Through his leaps, he pays tribute to music, photography, and the audiovisual world. Passionate about architecture, lines, and colours, Forgetmat showcases the world around him by creating vertiginous and poetic concepts.
