Why photography ?
Why Not? I just love it. I feel naked if I don’t have my camera with me. Everywhere I look I see a photograph.
Your inspiration ?
My dad was a scuba instructor and underwater photographer which is where I got my inspiration for both the underwater world and photography.
The context of creation of your new series?
I have been moving away from people portraits and falling in love with nature photography. Wether I’m photographing sharks, whales, horses or elephants I want people to see the beauty in nature and the importance of protecting it.
Any anecdote for us ?
I recently referred to my Nikon D800 as my big phone.
The picture you would have loved to shoot ?
Tough question. There are so many amazing photographs out there. I am inspired by different photographers daily. I don’t ever want to recreate someones photograph but when I see I a great one I want to go there and get my take on it.

Your motto ?
F 8 and be there. It’s an expression used by so many photographers because its so true.
Any crush on a YK picture ?
Thats like asking me to pick my favorite song or favorite movie. There are so many incredible photographs on YK but the work of Pedro Jarque Krebs always jumps out at me when I visit the page.
