HEROD BECEN
Herod Becen is a photographer and writer who lives and works at the far end of Finistère. A traveler inspired by natural marine and forest landscapes, he loves wild places and has a particular interest in island spaces. Demanding in his practice, the artist is passionate about the pictorial rendering and colors in his prints. Whether in Brittany, Newfoundland, the Mediterranean, or off the coast of Africa, his images possess a contemplative aura of preserved territories where humanity has not yet imposed its history.
